I'll be Super Busy!

Probably won't be posting much in the next few days.
I'm busy working like crazy trying to get some things listed to sell on eBay.
Taking decent good clear photos, writing a description and figuring out a fair asking price is very time consuming.  But it does seem to be a good way to get rid of tons of excess stuff I have around here.
Trying to downsize in preparation for an out-of-state move is not an easy trick.

How in the world did I ever accumulate so much stuff?
Oh yeah,... I remember.  I inherited a lot of it  (lucky me) .. .AND  I happen to be a sentimentalist who has a hard time letting go of stuff with memories.

Oh and by the way....anybody wanna buy a house ?

Vintage PAPER-MACHE YULE LOG

From the 1940s - 1950s
I'm not sure of the age of this beautiful unique Christmas Yule Log.
It comes from a relative's Christmas collection.
I am guessing it to be from the 1940s or 1950s.

Made of Paper-Mache, it is painted gold and has gold sparkle glitter with a couple of old tiny dried up pine cones painted gold as trim.
Approximately 13" inches long - 4" inches high
It holds 3 candles. I put the 3 brand new red tapered candles in it just to see how it will look.

Should I keep it or should I give it away ?

* Grow Golden Candles *

It's called the "Lollipop Plant"!

Pachystachys lutea is known as the Golden Shrimp Plant or Lollipop Plant.
This ever-blooming houseplant brightens the home with yellow flower spikes, that resemble candles. The "candles" are clustered with tubular white flowers that make a stunning display during the holidays. Plants grow to just 2 feet high and display dark green, spear-shaped leaves with promiment veins.

Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life

The story of  Who Moved My Cheese?  has become a runaway #1 International BestSeller with more than 10 million copies in print!

Change can be a blessing or a curse, depending on your perspective.
The message of  Who Moved My Cheese?  is that all can come to see it as a blessing, if they understand the nature of cheese and the role it plays in their lives.

Who Moved My Cheese? is a parable that takes place in a maze. Four beings live in that maze: Sniff and Scurry are mice--nonanalytical and nonjudgmental, they just want cheese and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Hem and Haw are "littlepeople," mouse-size humans who have an entirely different relationship with cheese. It's not just sustenance to them; it's their self-image. Their lives and belief systems are built around the cheese they've found.

Most of us reading the story will see the cheese as something related to our livelihoods--our jobs, our career paths, the industries we work in--although it can stand for anything, from health to relationships.  The point of the story is that we have to be alert to changes in the cheese, and be prepared to go running off in search of new sources of cheese when the cheese we have runs out.

What a week !!!

Started out when my watch fell off my wrist and BROKE.
Next the automatic garage door BROKE and would not close completely down.
Then I LOST my cell phone (or someone stole it)
What next ?
Anyone else ever had a week like that?
Guess I can't complain. Things could be so much worse.
But it was a very frustrating week for me  :(

If you spend today  walking away from worry and moving towards serenity; leaving behind conflct and traveling towards solutions; and parting with emptiness and finding fulfillment.
