Figure Eight

It's heart warming to see Grandpa feeling like he's 15 again as his grandson looks on with amazement in this 1948 painting from Rockwell's   "Grandpa and Me" series.
 Norman Rockwell was a 20th-century American painter and illustrator. His works enjoy a broad popular appeal in the United States for their reflection of American culture. Rockwell is most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life scenarios he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine for more than four decades

  5. I remember as a child my parents buying Saturday Evening Post and the paintings of Rockwell. I loved them then and now.

  10. I do enjoy the art of Norman Rockwell...he did capture a most pleasant time of life ....I never knew any of my grandfather's...and only two grandmothers....Just stopping in this morning to get my fix of SunnyGlo .... hugs from arkansas
